We’re reaching out to share an important update regarding the use of Screenkeys in our digital signage solutions, effective June 4th.
We are rolling out a system update designed to better monitor and enforce the correct use of Screenkeys.
Starting June 4th, our system will identify and display a notification on any display using a Screenkey that is already active on another device.
Why this update?
We’ve noticed instances of Screenkeys being used across multiple player applications, which is against our policy.
This update aims to improve our license management and ensure adherence to our usage policies.
If you are aware of any instances where a single Screenkey is being used on more than one installation, please address this by taking the following steps before the update goes live:
- Generate new Screenkeys for additional installations through our platform by adding more screens to your account.
- If that’s not possible, consider upgrading the user’s license to cover the additional usage.
Please remember, a separate Screenkey is required for each display to comply with our licensing terms.
Thank you for your cooperation.
